Silent Witness

Story

You arrive at the edge of the forest, the last known location of the victim's documents. The air is thick, damp, and heavy with the scent of decay. You gather the scattered papers, each one crucial, stained with blood and dirt. Time is running out. As you make your way back to the warehouse, the dismembered body waits for you—limbs splayed across the cold concrete floor, each part meticulously placed as if to send a message. You methodically collect the remains, the task grim but necessary. With the evidence secured, you move quickly toward the exit. The darkness of the forest looms ahead, and you know you must make it back to the station—before someone else does.

Windows 11 

• Open Settings Press Win + I to open Settings. 
• Go to Sound Settings Navigate to System > Sound. Select 
• Your Input Device Under the Input section, click the dropdown under Choose a device for speaking or recording. 
• Select your preferred microphone.
• Test Your Mic Scroll down to Test your microphone and speak. If the bar moves, your mic is working. 
• Adjust Mic Settings (Optional) Click on the microphone, then adjust volume levels or enable enhancements if needed. 

Windows 10 

• Open Sound Settings Right-click the 🔊 Sound icon in the taskbar and select Open Sound sett
• ings. Choose Your Input Device Under the Input section, click the dropdown and select your preferred microphone. Test & Adjust Settings
• Use the Test your microphone section to check input levels. 
  
• Click Device Properties for advanced settings.

*  Troubleshooting Tips If your mic isn’t showing up, try unplugging and reconnecting it. Make sure microphone access is enabled in Privacy Settings. Update your audio drivers via Device Manager.
